| School Board approves $3.62M cost containment plan | |
|
On March 4, 2024, the Edina School Board voted unanimously to approve option A-1 cost containment that would close a budget gap in the 2024-2025 fiscal year. The board's decision provides short-term financial stability and ensures our district sustains its excellent programs and services, while also adhering to board fund balance policy. |

| $250 Hospitality Fund for Special Education Staff Beth Kryzer Funds will be used to support 60 special education staff members. |

| $300 Lost and Found Bin Ali Schaefer Funds will be used to buy materials for students to rebuild the broken lost and found bin. |

| $500 Graphic Novels English Department | Sarah Burgess Funds will be used to build a library of graphic novels for the classroom of 9th grade College Reading Readiness students. |
|
| $168 Replacement Apparel Health Services | Beth Gissibl The Health Services department needs replacement apparel for the students that have accidents at school. |
|
| $170 Breakout Edu Subscription Social Studies | Mary Stucynski Breakout Edu that allows students to create a digital break out room and play an escape game with learning from an article. |
